Conor McGregor becomes part owner of BKFC: 'Welcome to the big leagues'

Conor McGregor has mounted unparalleled success in the world of MMA and continues to expand his portfolio outside of it.

In a surprise announcement during Saturday’s BKFC KnuckleMania 4 broadcast, a video package played McGregor revealing he’s now an owner of the world’s most prominent bareknuckle boxing promotion.

“Welcome to the big leagues,” McGregor said. “David Feldman, baby, we did it.”

While no further details were revealed, BKFC president David Feldman indicated McGregor will be part of the ownership (though verbiage hinted it wasn’t absolute).

“I’m over the moon,” Feldman said on the broadcast. “The biggest guy in combat sports, one of the top 10 guys in combat sports history, is now a part owner of BKFC. You tell me what that’s going to do? It’s going to the moon.”

McGregor has been involved with BKFC from a distance over the past year. After a surprise appearance at BKFC 41 in April 2023, McGregor’s Proper Twelve and Forged Irish Stout have served as sponsorship partners of the promotion.

Now, as McGregor readies for a UFC 303 return vs. Michael Chandler in June, he announces a more hands-on involvement with BKFC.
