Washington, D.C., Man Fatally Shot In Seat Pleasant Park: Prince George's Police
An 18-year-old Washington, D.C., man was fatally shot in a Seat Pleasant park and Prince George's Police are working to identify a suspect.
SEAT PLEASANT, MD — Detectives are working to identify and arrest the suspect(s) who killed a Washington, D.C., man in Seat Pleasant Sunday night. A reward of up to $25,000 has been offered for information leading to an arrest and indictment in the case.
On April 14 at approximately 6:45 p.m., officers with the Maryland-National Capital Park Police, Seat Pleasant Police and PGPD were called to a park in the 800 block of Birchleaf Avenue for a report of a shooting. They found 18-year-old Michael Delonta Cooper with gunshot wounds. He was taken to a hospital where he was pronounced dead a short time later.
