Once again, grab the rain gear out the door Thursday with more rain in the forecast, as a slow-moving cold front slides through the area. Shower chances will taper off this afternoon with some late-day clearing, especially west of D.C.

Thursday temperatures will remain below average with highs in the low 50s.

Skies will clear overnight with colder air moving in. You'll want a warmer coat out the door Friday morning with wake-up temperatures in the 30s in many neighborhoods.

We'll round out the last week of March with warmer and windy conditions. A disturbance moving in pre-sunrise on Friday will bring in added clouds to start the day, but sunny skies are expected for the rest of the day. Wind gusts during the afternoon will range from 35-40 mph. Winds are set to ease after sunset with temperatures falling out of the 50s and into the 40s.

Easter Sunday will start cool, but end on a very mild note considering the time of year. Afternoon temperatures will be around 70.
